Physical symptoms

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share and see if anyone else does experience that as well. When I had my first panic attack I wasn’t informed on the topic unfortunately and I confused the panic feeling with a sense that was telling me I am dying. Since then I have done therapy, I can now control the panic attack but a high anxiety is still there. I started feeling all kind of symptoms: dizziness, feeling like I am shaken by someone, chest pains, tingling in palms or feet, palpitations, pains here and there, feeling cold, needing more air, stomach pains, headaches, pulsations in temples. These symptoms got me so scared so many times because I always over analyse my body, I went for and EKG, ear check for dizziness, nothing is coming wrong. Spoke to so many doctors, everyone told me it is anxiety. It is so frustrating, it got me having a phobia of disease and I always imagine the worst case scenario. It is hard to convince myself that I am healthy with all these sensations and to keep rational. Thank you for listening!

@Bianca77

hey bianca! i'm so sorry you're experiencing all of this! I'm glad you're able to control the panick attacks now, but I completely understand why a high anxiety is still there. i can assure you that all of your symptoms are normal. physical symptoms can be really scary and I totally get why it's frustrating! i always imagine the worst case scenario as well and I know how challenging that can be sometimes. i know its hard, but try to remember that you're healthy, perfectly normal, and okay.

Thank you for your answer, it really is helpful knowing you are not alone and others experience same situations. It is frustrating indeed and I hope we all get better each day and keep fighting!

I’ve experienced this too. It’s good to know that I’m not alone! Just try to keep in mind that you’re healthy and that it’s all just anxiety. Easier said than done, I know. Hang in there.

I feel all of these physical symptoms from time to time! It’s totally “normal” even if it is terrifying. There are a lot of breathing techniques you can do, and I also find that going for a walk can help me with symptoms.
