Hi. I don't really know how to use this thing but I really need help. Recently I have been experiencing shaking and spasm like things where my whole body tenses up. I think it is related to anxiety but I don't really know. It also happens more when I think about it. I find that I can stop them but it takes a lot of effort and concentrating to do so. I don't really know what is happening so please help if you know anything tell me.

Yeah, shaking could be tied to anxiety. It's common after the panic attacks I've experience as well. It does take a lot to stop it sometimes. What works for me is putting on some comedy skits from youtube. It takes my mind off things and makes me feel better after.

I have experienced this exact same thing. It still happens sometimes when I’m feeling especially anxious. Don’t worry, it’s normal and harmless.

having physical reactions such as the ones you mentioned are more common than you may think with anxiety! with my experience, i find that the more things i was holding in and the more stressed i was, the worse these reactions would be. this is your body's natural reaction to this possible stress, and it is subcontiously putting you into a fight or flight response because it is worried about potential danger. you aren't alone, and you don't have to go through this alone either. feel free to pm me if you'd like and we can maybe brainstorm some ways to help you or try to figure out why this may be happening. im here for you smiley
