Social anxiety

Hi, 32/f here. I've always been a shy, socially anxious person all my life, but lockdowns have made it more intense and worse for me.

Work meetings have become a nightmare and my anxiety has taken physical form. My palm gets sweaty, heart gets racing and i end up mumbling my thoughts in no cohesive order during work meetings. And i spend atleast an hour post meeting thinking about how i made a fool of myself. At this point my colleagues just listen to me like white noise (they either dont understand my mumble or have nothing to respond)

I'm getting sick and tired of this never ending loop every single day. I'd love to hear if this happens to others too, and if you all may have suggestions on how to improve. Thanks alot.

I’m 32 soon to be 33. I have anxiety and I don’t know how to control it when I get scared. It’s when I’m scared that my anxiety shows. I wonder if eating healthier foods like almonds and cherries and bananas will actually work?

I'm 31/f and also have social anxiety. I too feel like lockdown made it worse to the point that I couldn't speak during a zoom meeting. I've been trying to read about how to combat social anxiety e.g. listening properly when other people talk in a group instead of thinking about where to put my hands. There's a great person on YouTube called Vanessa Van Edward who also gives great tips and advice. Remember, socialising is a skill so it requires practice for some of us which is why lockdown would make it so much worse. Be kind to yourself :)
