Things I need to change
The last years had been devastating for me, well most of my years.... lol.. but the last years never talking to anyone, coming back to home and out of the loneliness i felt, i was just escaping my depression and my problems in video games. I join a community that helped me to stop gaming in discord, thanks to them now I gain so much control over my life. I still have a long way to go. Basically my biggest problems are as follow.
1. I don`t work, I am 39 years old, and my parents help me with money. So working is something I must do, and it will be better some job I could enjoy and where I could develop myself and grow as a person.
2. My social skills need to improve a lot. I mean making friends, going outside and socializing, and learning such things. I am making great progress in this by staying less time in my house at least for the past 2 days.
3. My love life really sucks. And I dont usually party or havent had any kind of relationships, not even casual ones in years. So I really need to improve my social skills for this to improve, and be more down to earth. I am aiming to improve this too. I always think about going partying, but i always end up giving up for some excuse. 4. I really need to travel, I am so stuck in this one. I have a dog, so I might look for someone who I can trust that could keep my dog, and go take some holidays, so I will be more relax. Still also while not being at holidays I need to do things to get me away from the routine. and definitely try to be as much outside from my house as possible.
5. Improving my image. Although I had improved my imaged drastically, and I look like a new person, I would love to buy more clothes to have a style that could let me express myself, maybe more perfumes, etc. I am also going to fix some stuff in my house / remodeling (which I already did some remodeling) 6. This is a very important one, try to live less inside of my thoughts, and to be more present in the moment. Thanks for reading. Sorry that is long.
Hi. I think when it comes to making changes, we have to start small. We don't have to change everything at once. Try to do one small thing. Then another small thing. We also have to think about what is manageable, what is a change we can continue with. Rather a small step that you can continue taking than a huge jump that not only scares you but could injure you. Small steps. One at a time. Also, don't push yourself all the time. Reward yourself and remember periods of rest. Self care is important. Good luck!
