for me i would listen to music , pray to god & read the bible but when i get overwhelm i tend to try self harm as its like tearing my 💔😭 these few days my feelings are so emotional like riding an rollercoaster ride

I do same thing except for the self-harm part. I just begin to freeze, and not do anything.
Prayer usually helps but sometimes, my anxiety stops me from even doing that too.
But don't hurt yourself, try maybe going outside and water some plants. I have a couple potted plants that I water to help me get my mind off things for a minute. The relief doesn't last long but it helps.
@passionateTree7298 How old are you my dear? I started getting anxiety issues in my early 20's. When I was in college, moved on my own, had to make decisions for myself, and had my own freedom. Part of me was so happy, but the other part was scared! I think it all depends on how a person was raised and grows up. I am 34 now and try so hard to overcome the situations that cause my anxiety because I know it is all in my mind. Example, I get very anxious at family gatherings - birthday parties, Christmas, Easter, etc. Yet, I love the summer festivals that are packed with people, half of them drunk and falling over! Makes no sense, right? I'm extremely self conscious of what my family thinks of me, regardless that all of them have made mistakes as well! So how do we conquer this anxiety in our minds? Learn to love yourself and be proud of who you are. That is the problem with this generation. So many people hurting themselves and it is wrong. We are ALL children of God and we are ALL unique and special.
