What you're supposed to do on the weekends
Growing up, my parents didn't really have any friends, so weekends were mainly for chores/errands and a lot of sitting around watching TV and doing nothing. Now I've fallen into the same situation, with no real friends and doing nothing in particular on the weekends. Yet when I get to work Monday, everyone seems to have something they did, like "we went to the lake" or "had dinner with friends" or other activities. Part of me wonders when they're getting their chores done if they're spending time hanging out with people one the weekends. The other part of me wonders what's wrong with me if hanging out is supposed to be "normal."
Anyone else get this feeling that they aren't doing anything meaningful on their weekends and that is a problem? Is it even a problem?

Hello!
I don't really do anything on my weekends either, my parents were never weekend planners. We did the same thing, weekends were for cleaning and running errands and things like that, also for lazing around and watching TV or playing video games etc. I'm an adult now and I don't do anything on my weekends and it makes me feel unaccomplished or something? Like am I supposed to plan things to do on the weekend like a regular adult?
But I don't think what we're doing is wrong, everyone spends their time differently. You can plan things and have friends and do things on weekdays and leave your weekends to yourself if that's what you want?
I hope this helped, or brought some insight.
