When you

I'm so anxious, my anxiety has anxiety. My life is a mess. I'm such a wreck.
That's what I always tell people, and they usually just laugh, because things like that are just funny anymore. Things like anxiety and depression are turned around into a joke so that we can somehow express how we're feeling inside, but at the same time people can still just kind of brush it off and move on to the next important thing. We're anxious to tell people "I feel like I'm dying inside" but when that does come out, we ourselves turn it into something funny, and then we all just laugh about it.
But I don't want to laugh. I want to cry. I want to scream. I want to be taken seriously.

@sunnysadness

I understand, it is hard to be understood or to talk about how you really feel. I hope you can find someone with whom you can do all those things you wanted like crying and screaming and you will be understood. Hang in there!

That is literally what I suffer with sometimes. I tend to have obsessive fears about anxiety ruining a special moment or another flare up taking place. Honestly, I think the anxiety we face is worse than what we had initially feared!
