Why is this happening?
This week I've been feeling wierd I seem to lose interest in everything. I've deleted social media in the past for the same reason and for depression. I've stopped binge watching youtube. I used to watch none stop videos of how to... or why this and why that... it seems like I can't stop searching. Why am I always asking questions on Google. It seems endless. I'm always trying to read articles on "why I stopped wearing makeup" or "why men prefer girls without makeup". It seems like I'm obsessed over the same topics. I'm also avoiding music because of subliminal messages of the illuminati and satanic worshipping. But when I get my phone that's mostly what I look for like I want to search deeper on why... is this bad for my anxiety. I seem like I can't relax and also here i want to keep asking questions and see you're responses. I also have been in other questions and answers apps to see what others think. I'm not sure if its negative for my mental illness. Sometimes I feel anxious when I use my phone and I have nothing to do with it. I just don't get it why I get my phone in the first place
@xoxomewmew it is a hyper activity of the brain annd the all obsessive question of "why". I did that too, in.my depression I found myself just writing on google for a hope of an answer...i wrote "sadness", "I am lost", many others...and also broke from social media many times including 7cups. What we need is to find nature and freedom again. When I was in nature I had no phone, I was with my wolves or my waters...I can tell you a trick that you can use against anxiety, a secret some deep divers like me use to shut off our minds and body functions: you chose a meningless word, something that comes into your mind and you feel condirtable. It is essentjal that it has no meaning in any language that you know in order that you cannot make any logical link to that word. Repeating that word over and over is meant to clear your mind of any thoughts, absolutely any thoughts, just complete darkness, then you can detach from everything.
@SakoombaKeroYou are right 100%,lack of outside contact is hurting pretty much and leading to anxiety....
@xoxomewmew
• Seems to me like you are too much engaged in internet.Its essential to put a time limit to how much time you spend on phone.Usually I would think browsing shouldnt go beyond 1hr/day.Ideally your browsing should be on things that add value to your lifeThis will bring down the mental clutter....
•Letting go of the need to know everything.Developing an attitude of using internet only when there is a need will be helpful (other than the "daily Internet time").Buying something,not able to understand how to use it from the instructions manual is a legitimate reason to look up on the internet.So other than that 1hr (or whatever time you have allotted);you only use when there is legitimate reason....
•Its a scientific fact that people spending too much timwle have increased anxiety and so.Thus if you developed a routine which has work(school,or college etc)exercise,time each day where you socialise with ppl phsyically;these forming the core of the routine...
These steps will help.As for habit change like for eg:eliminating unnecessary browsing;a book called "What to say when you talk to yourself by one Mr:Shad Helmstetter is a good one" (Have read this personally and has helped me a lot)
Similarly there is a book called "Changepower" by one Ms Meg Selig.Suggest you Read the preview of it,and see if you are convinced...
So thats that.....
@xoxomewmew And again,there is no denying that in addition to all these,"healthy eating" is essential for overall well being....
