Working on being positive
I've stopped listening to such sad depressing music. And listening to music that is upbeat and positive. I actually got out to play disc golf this weekend and met a group of guys who let me play with them. They were so awesome and positive and affirming. A song I have heard many times came on the radio this morning, and this newfound way of opening up and being honest with myself and others made me hear it in a completely different way.

That's so great to hear, and I definitely agree when it comes to the music part! A friend of mine told me a while back that her therapist told her to only to listen to songs over 120 BPM, so I thought that was really interesting. The realization of how music plays a part in our emotional lives is really insightful :)
I know it's been a while, but I hope things have been going well! I wish you luck with your journey going forward, and thanks for sharing this moment with us 😊🎵
@selfdisciplinedLion4579 Hey! This is so beautiful to read. I am so incredibly happy for you and this amazing shift!🫶🏻
And I've got a song recommendation for you since you mentioned you liked that old song... please try "Here comes the Sun" by The Beatles...i hope you enjoy it
