anxiety is killing me

I'll try to make this short...
Anxiety (mostly social anxiety) is tearing me apart. I want to go to college and just get started on life but I also want to get a job because my mom and I are barely scraping by on her disability income and I'm damn sick of not being able to afford enough food every month, though I know I can't handle doing both so which do I even work on first? So that's a problem on its own and the biggest problem here is me not even being able to try to do those things because my social anxiety is so bad. I can't even leave the house and walk around the neighborhood by myself because of it. I can't answer the phone. I can't go into stores on my own. I'm relying on my mom for everything and I'm sick of it.
So, you can see how it's getting in the way of me, you know, living life and being 'normal.'

Besides all that, I don't even know HOW to apply for college or a job. I have no idea what you're supposed to say during job interviews or what to put on a resume. I don't even have anything to put on a resume. I was homeschooled and I didn't even learn that much (which is a whole other sore subject for me) so I don't really have anything to write about education. And where should I even apply?

For my social anxiety, I could go volunteer at the animal shelter here to get myself out of the house and around some other people, and I could also go to the gym to kind of relax and get some much-needed exercise, which I've heard is good for mental health... Is that a good starting point...? It's all I can think of for now... At least I wouldn't be sitting at home alone with my mom all day.

@crimsonGrapefruit4935 Hello, I just want you to knwo that you are not alone and there are many organisations out there who can help you get into work or college. I am sure that it is very hard for you as I suffer the same thing. I found that using some medication was beneficial, Im not sure if you hae looked in that area of things? I do feel tht coming out more to work or college would be great for you to retrain your brain that society is okay. I also need to do this but it is hard to take that first step.

As for college I think you would apply by looking at a course you want to do and then maybe call the college and find out what they need you to do. I knwo you said you dont like to talk to people on the phone but it could be like your first step? like step 1, find a course, step 2, research what you need, step3, call them.... that sort of thing? so slowly step by step you are working your way back out of the anxiety? Also have you heard of CBT? it is meant to be extremely helpful for social anxiety.

There are many ways you can reach out for help. I will attach some links for you below so you can check them out and see if anything is helpful for you there.
