I'm trying to find some strategies to cope with my anxiety. right now, my problem is my anxiety causing me to escalate everything. my anxiety will start as one small issue and I will get so worked up about it I escalate it to worrying about every what if and the worse case scenario. I'm looking for some strategies so that when I get anxious about something I can calm myself down before it escalates into something a lot bigger. personally, breathing exercises make me a lot more anxious so that's probably a no

Hi, I dont have any certain coping methods and advice to share myself, but the "Learning to tolerate anxiety" Mindfullness exercise in 7cups really helped me on some bad times :) If you havent tried that yet, maybe it works for you as well.

@chickenk What helps me be less anxious is accepting my anxiety. It's okay to be anxious and to just let my feelings be. Our feelings are valid and I am have social anxiety and endless fears about the future. So for me it helps me to see and understand why I feel anxious instead of pushing it away, and then I come to understand more about myself and I beleive you can as well. It also helps to talk it out so if you ever need a listening ear, we are all happy to support you:)
