Hey 🤗, every time I go to sleep I have nightmares, wake up and go for it again...
I dreamt that I was attacked by a dog when no dog ever attacked me in my life...I dreamt that I was thrown from a narrow ledge by my friends...
Nightmares are there for you to conquer or assimilate and live with, whatever works😉🤗
I wish you well🤗

Do you have a routine at bedtime to make you more relaxed? Maybe read a book for a while (something uplifting, prayers, if you're religious), or do some puzzles/play some games. Take a hot bath/shower, use some aromatherapy - lavender is supposed to be very relaxing. Have something warm and comforting to drink before bed. No caffeine. Chamomile tea is nice. Just something soothing that doesn't have caffeine in it.

As cheesy as it sounds, try to remember some of your good dreams too! The scary ones accompanied by panic attacks are the worst! If you ever find out how to prevent those, let me know. But I like to go to sleep listening to relaxing sounds, like rainstorms, and that helps me sleep deeper. I dream less when I sleep with sounds as well.
