wasting life?
I have been having a lot of bad anxiety about if I'm wasting my life or right. I know most of the year we are in quarantine, but I still feel like I didn't do anything to leave an impact or anything spontaneous that I can remember when I'm no longer a teenager. I have always had the fear that I'm falling behind in life or I'm missing out or I'm just wasting my teenage years overall. I didn't do a lot this year that is super important or leaves an impact, so now I'm ashamed of myself and just feel like I'm always wasting my life and this year. I don't want to feel that way because it is overwhelming, but compared to everyone else, I feel like I completely wasted 2020 and I don't want that to happen to 2021. I don't want to feel like I'm wasting my life away and my teenage years are gonna be boring when I look back at them. I don't know what things I can do now that can leave an impact on the upcoming years and while I'm still a teen.

I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. You are not alone, there are so many other people that feel the same way. I know it may feel like this year was wasted but it was not. This year we got through things we never thought we would have to go through. We adapted and built character and are getting through this difficult time together. This may seem like this year was not impactful, but you will most likely have memories of this year for the rest of your life, that one day people may ask you about. Remember also that this will not last forever.
Take care.
