worrying you won't be good enough

Hi, I'm Avery and I just joined 7 cups. I'm the youngest in my family of many siblings. Even though I get good grades and do clubs I still feel like I'm not doing enough or as much as my siblings. I always feel like I am one step behind. I'm always thinking about what I should and shouldn't do in the future. Does anybody do this too or have any tips?

Hi lovely!

You are doing an incredible job. Please stop being so hard on yourself, comparing yourself to others + thinking you need to be better. All that you are is + forever, will be enough for your siblings. There is no other person on this planet that hugs them like you do, makes them smile the way you do or takes away the pain like you do.. They adore you Averyheart

@sunflowernymph

I know what that feels like because Ive walked in your shoes for most of my life until I realized one very crucial thing: my siblings who I am very proud of, walk a very different path than I do. They are unique in ways that are not similar to each other, just as Im unique in ways that are not similar to them. All of our own paces were exactly right for each of us.

It can seem like were moving slower, or were not doing enough— even while were really trying to do the most but the biggest takeaway is: You arent meant to be them. Youre meant to be you.

I appreciate you coming by today, Avery. What are three things you really love about yourself, or what are three things your teachers and people you look up to, would say positively about you?
