Hi @fraildimensions, i have a great news for you, you are not loosing your mind, because people that are actually loosing their minds thinks about themselves that they are absolutely normal. You may be suffering from anxiety or depression or a combination of the two. I’ve been in the same spot and i’ve talked with various psychiatrist, but the thing that alleviate my pain was a self help book written by Dr David Burns “Feeling Great” (if you are dealing with only anxiety try “When panick attacks”). I didn’t believe it it much, but it helped a great deal, the CBT can be a real cure for anxiety and depression. But you can also consult a psychiatrist. You need to discover the distortion in your thoughts that is causing anxiety or depression. You will go through this, don’t worry. Stay safe🤗

I feel like I am slowly loosing my mind too. Being in lockdown with COVID only made it worse. I get anxiety so bad and it hits this time of day. I can't sleep well either. I was reading seperately about narcisist abuse the other day and anxiety. I put two and two together. It was weird about how my anxiety looked like it was the results of narcissistic abuse. My parents are both narcisists and I think it may have been the abuse that caused me to be anxious. I only get really really anxiety when talking them because they always spin my words, gaslight me, get irritated, say am not a good person, etc. I then carry this anxiety with me. My point is, maybe there is something triggering your anxiety. It most likely will not be the same as mine as anxieties are all very different.

The covid situation can make us feel that we are going crazy, but we aren’t. I know people who struggled with anxiety 20,30,40 years and they are still sane. It’s better to have a routine, get up at 7, jog 1 hour(or do some intense exercise), eat a healthy breakfast and keep ourselves busy. The sleep will get better for sure, add to that the CBT and you’ll be feeling great in no time. Try to stay away from coffee, cigarettes, drugs of any kind or other addictive things.
