Anxious about how I treat others

I've always thought that, even if I was unpopular, I was at least a good person, but lately I've found out that I've said things that have really offended or upset people, and I didn't realise until they told me weeks later. So now I'm starting to worry that I'm a bad person, and if I am then what positive things can I say about myself? This has seriously messed me up, and I don't know how to cope with this, so any advice/support would be appreciated

@AnxiousAxolotl6 well, sometimes I feel the way you feel, so I can sort of understand how you feel. It's Ok to feel that. This means you are a good person who cares for others, there is people in this world who say hurtful things to others intentionally, without thinking about it later. You know that you are a human being, you can't be perfect, you could only try your best and learn from your mistakes, and it's Ok to make mistakes because you know we are still humans (: 💜 please don't be hard on yourself, If they told you that these things you said hurt them, try to apologize to them and learn from that so you can try your best to not say these things in the future to them :) .. You can try to ask them to tell you if you say stuff that hurt them, then you can apologize and move on. Because it's Ok to make mistakes, we can't control everything, learn from your mistakes and forgive yourself because you are trying your best :) 💜💜

I hope this helps you, because I can understand how you feel 🙏💜
