Does anyone know what 'Online CBT' involves?

Hi folks, new here and thought I'd try this question here as I'm getting very little insight elsewhere. I've been for a mental health assessment via NHS, I suffer anxiety (largely via online communication, but as I'm Autistic and largely socialise online this is an issue) and what I'm referring to as 'low-mood' (I'm not sure it could be called depression).

They've decided to send me to face-to-face CBT for my low mood - I've never had CBT before, not sure what to expect or how well it'd work with an Autistic person if the therapist isn't well-educated about autism - but for anxiety they're putting me online CBT. I have NO IDEA what this might involve, if it's just online tasks via some web site then that seems like a cop-out on their part and ultimately not helpful. Any ideas what it may involve?

@KashaUK My understanding, is that CBT is to encourage the link between how we think and how that influences how we feel and behave. I am guessing that it will be positive that you have chance do it both ways - as it will allow you try acheiving this with different approaches.

I found this link, that talks about computerised cbt - I am not sure if it is the programme you will use however it may help to give a insight https://www.beatingtheblues.co.uk/patients/

Also if you want general overview of CBT you could have a look at https://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Cognitive-behavioural-therapy/Pages/Introduction.aspx

I hope that helps a little , if can I can help any more just give me a shout :)
