Got second covid shot, have anxiety
Hey, first post here. So I got my second covid shot today. Within about 8 hours got hit with some intense chills, fever, fatigue, etc. Unintended side effect has been a raised heart rate. Without getting to far into it heart rate is one of the major contributors to my anxiety. I'm not quite to panic attack territory, but as we all probably know, chest pressure, and heart stuff is really uncomfortable. I know logically nothing is wrong and my heart can handle way more than this, but I just cant shake the back of the head feeling that something is wrong. I'm hoping that writing all this out helps to distract my dumb brain. Thanks!
@itsjuststress I know this post was 2 hours ago, but if you're still having some anxiety there is the option of calling your local health link line for reassurance that everything is okay. For me it would be 811 but I know that isnt world wide. The vaccines can cause our bodies to go a little wonky for a day or so, but if it continues too long medical attention might be beneficial.
