My terrible day
We had to do public speaking so I brought in my speech it was terrible it was so bad I spoke REALLY quitley so no-one could hear me but then maybe people would think I was weird and quiet or something i skipped out a huge section so it was only 30 seconds long when ot was ment to be at least 2 minutes and i could feel peoples stares burning me i was sweating I had an anxiety attack infront of the class
Shit I'm so sorry about this. Honestly i relate to you. My first speech in my new school was so bad my English teacher legit stopped being nice to me. She was disappointed. But you know its not your fault. I've been trying to tell myself this because it helps at times. I tell myself i fumble over my words or lose confidence because in my life those areas weren't nurtured. Instead we're put down, made fun of. Never lead to believe that what we say has importance, value or actual substance. So its only natural that we suffer like so. We have to unlearn false and negative beliefs and then learn new ones all the while taking a back lash. That rough! So its not my fault or yours. It's something difficult we have to deal with but that doesn't mean we should feel guilt or little because of it too. Its not our fault and fuck, we try.
Thanks😊😊 Teachers don't care about mental conditions oeople yelling across the classroom "SHES FAKING IT!" They only care about money and grades Thank you for reading my thread
Wow, the fuck? Your school really needs to be more supportive about this stuff. Idk how people become so insensitive. I suppose sometimes it just goes to show how clueless they really are.
Well most of the teachers think that social anxiety is just something that makes you a little bit more nervous than other people and dosent affect your life very much so they treat me as all the other students but they know what to do when i have an anxiety attack this teacher was a substitute teacher she came from a different school and didn't know what to do so when this kid yelled across the classroom he did get in trouble but it wasn't that bad she figured out what it was and she thought I was overreacting she didn't make me do the speech again but she did the act that mums do "I'm not angry just dissapointed" My school knows nothing The Principal assures my mum that "the staff will be informed about your childs disabality and she can be placed in a MC class if you wish" MC is special ed MMMMMM that teacher pisses me off!

Hey! I am SO sorry to hear this, and I can relate all too well :( One time, I was shaking so badly while giving a speech that my teacher literally brought me a chair so I could sit down. I'm sure that when you spoke, some of your classmates who may also struggle with public speaking empathized with you, because I sure know that when I see someone having a hard time with public speaking, I don't judge them at all and instead feel for them :)
