Overwhelming sense of dread going out and dealing with humans

Why is it that every time i go out it's overwhelming to the point where i feel like the people are staring at me and too close? I hate going out and dealing with people but i hate being stuck indoors all the time. Just thinking about going out has it's own issues because who knows what could happen out there. I wouldn't classify it as a phobia, cuz i can handle going outside, but it's definitely affecting my life to the point where i feel like I'm going insane trying to battle the thoughts in my mind just to go and interact with humans. I just wish I could be normal so to speak.

@lonelydepresso

Hi!

Start little by little.

Baby steps...

First 10 minutes on the front of your house...

Then some more a bit further...

Get closer if you feel uncomfortable.

If possible, change a few words with peaceful people you know

Like about the weather...

I hope you can start moving forward

Little by little.

All the best!

Marcelo

@lonelydepresso

When I was depressed, I also had a strong aversion with socializing. It cane to a point where I can't even look people in the eye. I was very frustrated and angry on myself, why have I became like this?

I've overcome my depression now, thanks to God. And I'm trying to regain my basic social skills. There's a time wherein it's kinda overwhelming, and escape is my way out.

If you want someone to listen, just message me. You're not alone in this.
