Situational social anxiety

Hello everyone. I'm 24 and a short history of me is that I have panic attacks and other forms of anxiety. Specifically social anxiety right now....I'm really outgoing around friends and people I'm comfortable with but I get so nervous meeting new people, particularly with jobs. I just started a new job today and I feel really anxious. I work in kinda like a home care is the best way to describe it. I've been shadowing this girl and she's been telling me how much she hates the job and how the mom of the person we work with is stuck up. All of that made me really anxious and when the mom got home I started getting really sweaty and my heart started racing and I felt sick to my stomach. My supervisor came out here to talk with me and the mom and the mom asked me questions and at first I faked that things were going fine but then my supervisor said I'd be working alone thursday. Then the mom asked me if I was ready for that and I started getting really nervous and admitted into was just a little nervous. She asked me what I was nervous about and I started sweating more than I have in my life it felt like. My face got really hot and probably red and I didn't know what to say so was honest and said I have an anxiety disorder and get nervous in new situations. I told them that. I can't believe I let that out! They even asked if I was ok and if I needed water so obviously I looked as bad as I felt....I get like this at jobs all the time

Hope things are going well!
Work and dealing with Social Anxiety is so difficult. TBH it can be endearing to colleagues because it shows a sense of humility. Cold, unapproachable, and conceited people don't always get ahead, because they can be hard to work with. You sound like a good-hearted genuine person that is easy to get along with. Empathy might seem like it's not welcome in the workplace, but when you need someone that can listen or are having a bad day, you sound like the the kind of person people would be around.

you can feel free to let people know you're getting flustered or feeling a little ill or something along those lines, if it helps.

There were times I would get shakes so badly that I told my coworkers I had a basic tremor problem (which is basically the truth, right?). By the time I got home I would be exhausted just from having to deal with other people, the shaking, and my heart beating fast.
