uncertainty
one of the worst things I have noticed about social interactions is how easy it is to assume that an interaction went badly on the internet. One of the major reasons I feel i might be nd is because i often leave interactions with thoughts that I messed something up, or am constantly worried about people being annoyed with me.
I've been hearing a lot of advice lately saying opposite things. That I can't know what the other person is thinking, and dont worry about it they probably don't hate you, or well, people let you know their intentions without saying so. That it should be obvious to me when someone doesn't like me. The second set is more stressful to me, since my whole problem is that i read into minor cues too much. It makes me second-guess everything. I don't even know what i'm trying to say. It's hitting like usual, and i feel like i've exhausted my "talk to a friend" tokens on other things.
@affableStrings4654 Hello. It sounds like you care a lot about how others feel about you, and that you're feeling worried and uncertain because of a lack of self-confidence in your social interactions online. Sending lots of love your way!! I have the exact same problem so I can definitely relate. My husband always tells me that I'm putting way more thought into it than the other person is butt i can't help but overanalyze. Sorry I don't have advice but I can tell you you're not alone!💕
