If you all having children who have autism it's ok your not alone I have two of them one is none verbal and the other one is verbal and they are adorable but you have to have patience and learn that the child needs you. My ex boyfriend wasn't allowing to have patience and it's not easy or anything but kids are my life and I told him set the timer for 5 seconds and than let her or him up off time out. Than tell her or him need to apologize. My ex would hit her or grab her up from her arms hard you can't do that especially since they are none verbal. If she got upset she would hit her head on the windows or the sit on the floor and hit her head and or on the wall as well. I told him patience and walk away it's all you can do.

@Jayswifey You’re absolutely right  parenting children with autism, especially when one is non-verbal, takes deep patience, understanding, and love. It’s heartbreaking and unacceptable that your ex responded with harm instead of care. Your instincts to protect, guide gently, and teach with compassion are exactly what your children need. You’re not alone in this, and your voice can help other parents feel seen and supported too. You’re doing an incredibly hard and meaningful job, and it matters.
