Hi!

Hi! My name is Brian. It's neat that there's an autism support group here and just wanted to introduce myself. I am 39 years old. I was officially diagnosed with Autism 3 years ago but knew I had it since I was 12. I had teachers in elementary school who told my parents I had what was called at the time "Aspergers". I saw a Psychiatrist a year later for mental health issues but he refused to formally diagnose me. I haven't gotten to talk to many others like myself. Lately I've been struggling with an autoimmune illness and it's been difficult.
