How to find work while being autistic

I am an autistic person who tried applying to jobs and every job I applied to they never reply back or if I do get an interview they either A. never update me on my status so I gotta ask them how my status is and they never get back to me or B. Just turn me down from the job shortly after applying. Even something as simple as being a cashier from a grocery store and they still turn me down.

I even lied on my applications and resume that I wasn't autistic but when I go to the interview via on the phone or in person it's like the person who I'm interviewing with could tell that there's something wrong with me. I don't know if it's my tone of voice or how I look or whatever that gives it all away but it really makes me feel bad.

I could try doing work from home but I don't trust a lot of those working remotely companies I see on Indeed or zip recruiter seem so scammy and I don't know why.

For those who are autistic and are employed how did you do it? Am I maybe doing something wrong that nobody's telling me about? Please just someone teach me your ways!

I'm sorry that you are struggling.

It sounds so hard.

And unfair.

And I hope others who might be reading this , who have experience or tips will share with you 💚🤗
