My diagnosis issue.

So i was diagnosed before I was 1 year old, and they then took the diagnosis away when i was 9 because they deemed me “not autistic” but i went back this September and they rediagnosed me realizing that im “definitely autistic” and they’re shocked they “dismissed it before”
im 17 now. it’s so confusing because i know i am autistic, but since i never got resources in school that would’ve helped me, I built my own ways to try and “fix it” and now my mental healths going down the drain because i dont like alot of my autistic traits.

Receiving a diagnosis, having it taken away, and then reinstated can be incredibly confusing and challenging. It's understandable that this uncertainty might affect how you perceive and manage your autistic traits. Seeking support and understanding from professionals can help with this situation and support your mental well-being.
