Wish I could own a house

I wish I could own a house.  I know that's a lot of people wishes in this day and age and its out of the range for the majority of people.     I can't even afford an apartment rent due to being on disability income with no job supplement to help me out.   I would have to get a job which would allow me same benefits as full-time employees, w/o working full time.   I only want that because I still want to have coverages for medications I need to function daily because the provincial disability "bean counters" can  claw back money from Disability income checks if one earns 'too much" 

 The amount now we can earn w/o it being clawed back is $1,000/month.  So If I earned 5,,000/month   my check would be  first 50c less, then 70c  and then more and more until I "paid it back" or they "cut me off entirely" which means a huge battle to just get it back on 

For reasons I'm not quiet sure, I think apartments or group homes would not work out for me. I can't stand noise really and I'm  really rule-oriented that it would probably cause problems between me and other residents of the group home.  It was an issue once at (Day-program) in regards to getting food.   That's a different story entirely-so I'm not going to talk about that here.

Some of the (logical) reasons I want to have a house of my own are the following:

1. So I can be a host to other people and as well as if they need to be stay over night.  I think I would be an excellent host because I'm able  to remember people's preferences or allergies. 

2. So I can have a complete veggie garden in my back yard during the summer. 

3.  So I can have an above-ground swimming pool- yes I know there are rec centers but who ever heard of an  indoor above-ground pool in a  rec centre? IF I try to use a swimming pool, if its not accessible for people in wheelchairs or people who heads can't go under, I'm stuck in the kid's pool  in the rec centre (Girl Guides/Brownies)  or in the "less deep" side of in-ground pools (happened when I was 10/11 (old friend's birthday),  11 (Bible Camp), and also when I was 15 years old. (another friend's birthday). 

4. So I can make my own rules for once in my **** life.  

Sure there would be problems like having to mow the lawn, or figure out how to do the taxes or how the ** heck I would be able to get groceries because I don't drive.  Not unless I might do something like some disabled people do and have a car that other people (mostly my Dad/Sister) drive or friends drive me to the store, if they happen to drop in.
