What helps you with noise sensitivity?
I've been really struggling with sensory issues around sound. Noises just seem so overwhelming, especially if someone is talking to me on the phone or when someone is eating around me. Can anyone relate, or does anyone know if there is anything to help - maybe subtle earplugs? Or just anything that works for you?
Thank you!
@Cassiopeia25Yes, many people with sensory sensitivities find certain sounds overwhelming. Using subtle earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones can help reduce background noise without blocking everything out completely. Some also find calming music or white noise helpful to mask distressing sounds. You might try experimenting with different types of ear protection to find what feels comfortable and effective for you. If you'd like, I can suggest specific products or techniques that others have found useful for managing sound sensitivities.
