Bipolar 1- My mind feels weird after mania

Hi everyone, Back in Feb 2021, I had my first manic episode with psychosis. I was hospitalized for 15 days. After the episode, I started noticing that it became hard for me to focus, hard for me to read an academic paper or write a paragraph from school, difficulty processing information and so forth. I also seemed to have forgotten the things I learned in university and my practicum which should have been stored in my long term memory. I was wondering, does it come back? The memory? I feel like I lost a lot and that I’ll never be able to finish my degree

@bestGlobe614 That must have been frustrating for you. According to some sources, it's common to have memory issues during mania or depressive episodes and it appears to be temporary. Might be helpful to think of other reasons that might be causing the memory loss. I'm leaving you some links here:
