Bipolar One
Is bipolar something that comes and goes? Does it ever go away? Lately it seems like I don't feel any of the symptoms I had of bipolar. Or is it more something other people would knotice in me because I think it's normal to me? I wait I forget I'm not allowed to ask questions in this place.
@TheDude0156 I'm not an expert, but from what I've read bipolar does come and go. There can be episodes of mania and episodes of depression, and times when everything's fine. However, it's not quite as simple as that, because some people stop having episodes, but they still have the diagnosis for life because they might have another episode unexpectedly.
You're also right in thinking that the symptoms are what other people would notice. You might feel normal. This can make it really tricky to work out what's going on.
Oh, you're not allowed to ask questions here? No one told me, so I answered anyway

Thank you, I have been off my meds for about 8 months now. I think I should start talking them again Incase I do have an episode. My depression episodes almost shut me down to the point I can't do anything. Even take care of my son
I would recommend talking to your doctor about everything your feeling and maybe asking them to get a second opinion or go through the diagnostic process. I’m BP1 as well and rapid cycling but there are still periods of time where i am “normal” it takes a while to learn what that feels like and what the triggers are but it’s definitely important to be proactive because once your manic you won’t give a damn about anything or anyone and you won’t even know it.
