How do we know if someone has bipolar disorder?
What are the basic symptoms or behavioral pattern for bipolar disorder?
@IndigoGrapefruit2 The basic symptoms of bipolar disorder are described on many websites. For example, when I searched just now here's the first one I happened to find: Bipolar disorder.
It is not possible to know for sure if someone has bipolar disorder until they have been assessed by a mental health professional, usually a psychiatrist. This is because the diagnosis is very complicated. Several other disorders can have similar symptoms, and require different treatments.

Bipolar can look different for different people. Usually you can start to see bipolar symptoms around 15. Some red flags to look for are: lack of sleep for extended periods of time, highly active behavior, talking fast, maybe even hearing or seeing things followed by periods of depression. If you have concerns about yourself or someone else it would be best to seek professional advice

The basic symptoms of Bipolar disorder are they go manic from time and time, go distractable and talk things up which have no sense.
They believe if they do good karma, then others will fall in trouble and they will be saved out of it.
They target a single person from time to time to abuse them of their own shortcomings.
Bipolar disorder will abuse you and the moment someone jumps in, they will abuse that someone and uplift you to the top.
Although they claim of getting abused, they are the ones who abuse others the most.
They are extremely insecure so run for validation from time to time.
They cannot live alone and always clutch onto someone to whom they give the Godly state, even though they themselves have abused some days back.
Their manic episodes are horrendous. They can talk about buying an airport to opening an university and the next moment they will be asking you for 10 INR to buy a packet of chips.
