I have many mental health issues but one im focused on learning about is bpd and what symptoms to look out for/ what symptoms are actually bpd and not from another underlying illness
Everyone experiences bipolar in different ways. The best way to know if it is bipolar or something else is to see a mental health professional. Good luck
@cyanAcai9525 There are three different conditions with similar sounding names that are easy to confuse. The three are: bipolar I, bipolar II, and BPD.
If you're seeking answers about BPD, you posted in the wrong forum. BPD is short for borderline personality disorder, and the forum for it is here: Borderline Personality Disorder
Bipolar I and bipolar II differ in the severity and type of severe symptoms that occur at times. If you're seeking answers about these symptoms, this is the right forum but you'd need to be more specific about what you want to know.
It's easy to find descriptions of all three conditions if you search the Internet, of course.
Be aware, though, that you cannot self-diagnose any of these conditions, and you cannot diagnose them on the Internet in forums or using online questionnaires. They are all very serious mental illnesses that should be diagnosed by a psychiatrist.
