Talking About Things
I find it hard to talk about schizophrenia and about some hallucinations/delusions I experience. Alot of Listeners I have tried connecting to ghost when I mention about my experiences with schizophrenia to just to talk about them. I know that no one is a professional and it is ok if someone is uncomfortable listening to it. I would like if they tell me this over ghosting. On the other hand, I am grateful to those few who listen!
Maybe schizophrenia or psychosis can be added to the drop down list of topics that Noni asks when connecting with a Listerner.
@hillsideblues I hadn't noticed that before!
@EvelyneRose why isn't schizophrenia in the topic list? In the subcommunity it's lumped together with bipolar disorder, a very different condition (although psychosis is sometimes a common factor). Does this mean members who want to chat about schizophrenia somehow have to know to choose Bipolar as their chat topic?
The other thing is, I don't understand why listeners ghost members who mention their experiences with schizophrenia. Can any listener reading this, and who has ghosted a member with schizophrenia in the past, explain what their thinking was?
Certainly, any listener who ghosts a member for any reason should be reported so that the listener can get help. Unfortunately a screenshot is needed as "evidence" (even though screenshots can be faked).
