I find myself taking things personally and spiralling very quickly over insignificant things and just overreacting in general i also think he struggles with the hyper sexuality and how irritable i can get

Hello! This really resonated with me. All were problems in my relationship as well. I don’t think I always knew how irritable I got or how insignificant those things often were. Not that your partner dictates your reality, but I found that being curious about the other persons experience can be very helpful. Some of those things may be easy for you to control. Knowing the others would at least let you maneuver this better.

In my case it went on long enough, that I may have exhausted my partner. I wish I had been more open early on.

I hope you are able to understand each other in a way that feels comfortable to you both.

Hello Rosee!

What you shared resonates with me. I've been struggling with my intimate relationship too. It helps that they understand and don't take my irritability personally. But I find it hard to stablish a healthy/caring relationship, because how I feel about them correlates with my mood, which sometimes is not fair for them... To bring doubt onto the table. Right now we are taking a break, I think I tend to overwhelm the people who surrounds me, and it's good to give them some air. I hope I won't take it too far and disappear from their lives. Time will tell.

I'm glad to be reading this forum and find other people who are struggling in a familiar way. It gives me hope, somehow. Thanks for sharing a piece of your life

How are you doing lately?

Take care!
