I am on meds, also have BPD but all mental illnessess can be managed but not cured. Psyche is a weird thing. It IS possible to live better with help of mental health experts, support of the loved ones and working on yourself by yourself.

Life has gotten better for me. There are still struggles and my mental health and alcoholism are my top priority. I have to be on top of it but I have gained back so many things. My ups and downs are not so frequent. I recognize what brings be down and has taken awake but I can put in boundaries now which has helped me tremendously.

Hello @Boderlinenightmare11

I am a living example of being normal after being treated for BPD. I am on medication and it really does get better. You have to trust in the process and you need to believe that the hopelessness inside you is a delusional being trying to give up on you.

Never give up that’s the first thing. You will get out from this. Message me if you want to talk more I can give you Some more details.
