Join Us for Bipolar Disorder Awareness Week! (March 24th - 30th)
Hello everyone,
This fourth week of March, we are coming together to increase understanding and support for those living with bipolar disorder. This year's event theme is Understanding Bipolar: Bridging Awareness and Support. We invite you all to join us and support the community in spreading awareness and bringing support. Your presence and support will be much appreciated.
We organized a week of forums and group discussions where we all can have the opportunities to connect and aim at breaking down stigma and fostering compassion. Here's what we have planned:
Forum discussions with the topics:
- Sharing Our Stories & Building Understanding: an open space for sharing personal experiences, fostering empathy, and offering support.
- Myth vs. Fact: the dedicated thread to debunk myths about bipolar disorder and replace them with accurate information.
- Advocating for Yourself and Others: Breaking the Stigma: focuses on strategies for advocating for ourselves and others, and discusses ways to challenge the stigma surrounding bipolar disorder.
- Navigating Challenges: Work, Relationships, and Daily Life: focuses on the practical challenges of living with bipolar disorder, including navigating work, relationships, and daily routines.
- Coping Mechanisms: Managing Mood Swings and Triggers: Explore, learn, and share effective coping strategies for managing mood swings and identifying triggers.
Group Session:
- Living with Bipolar Support Circle Sessions: A dedicated group space where we can all take turns to share our experiences and connect with others who understand. Join Bipolar Group Support to attend these circle sessions.

@ASilentObserver
these are excellent activities. thanks for hosting this space to educate and bring our bipolar community closer together!
@ASilentObserver
So are these all just gonna be forum threads and nothing else or are they gonna actually have the Bipolar chat room open for Bipolar Awareness Week? Cause that would be very nice.
