My 12 year old schizophrenic daughter
I have a 12 year old daughter who is schizophrenic with psychotic tendencies. She is abusive to all of us including my 3 younger children. I had no choice but to put her in foster care a year and a half ago. I recently decided that it would be best to terminate my rights to her to be able to protect my younger children. I feel so broken. Can someone talk with me please?

I tried calling my daughter for the last time yesterday and she doesn't know I'm terminating my rights and she said she didn't want to talk to me. I feel broken and torn apart.
I am so sorry, that must have been very difficult making such a big(and sad) decision. Was this your biological daughter or a foster/ adopted child? When you adopt a child unfortunately you don't always know what mental or physical conditions they may have. I hope things get better for everyone involved.
