Hello! I just got diagnosed with bipolar recently so I've been looking for good support groups. I am 15 and I dont know of anyone in my personal life with the same condition, so ive been feeling very alone with this whole thing. Along side my diagnosis, ive been put on a new medication specifically to help with bipolar, I'm still pretty uneducated about the whole thing. I wanted to know if anyone has good tips to keep grounded? Or even good cites where I can look into it more? Anything helps! Thank you!

@Zzzee I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. Feeling alone with a new diagnosis can be difficult to navigate. What has been most challenging for you since receiving your diagnosis?

@Zzzee hi, listen I don't have bipolar but I have a serious mental health condition called scitzoeffective disorder which is part bi polar. you are so young to experience such a terrible infliction.

Please be very careful with what medication they suggest, it's not cumplusary though, don't feel forced or under pressure from the mental health team, doctor etc. they have no authority over you though they may start acting like they do, once you are on the medication for a while. If medication help that is great. But if it does not work for you don't take it, cause with my experience, these have never taken the meds them selfs or had a mental health condition they just go by text book or what it says online and thats the truth. Some meds have negative side effects and withdrawals which are worse than the symptoms of your health condition now I'm not trying to scare you or anything like that I'm being honest as I don't want anyone to go through what I have. Take care
