Hi

ı was diagnosed with silent syndrome last year. I was using lithium for 8years. I got fever and then ataxia : lost my ability to walk, speak (i have dysarthria) and i have hand tremors. I started to use valporic acid by doctors suggest. I got better with physiotherapy but don’t know if i will ever recover fully. I have to live with this and it is so painful. I have to use antidepressants for depression.

ı suggest you to be careful with medication.

ı really miss walking, my voice, working…

just wanted to share. Have a good day

I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. It must be incredibly difficult to deal with silent syndrome and the impact it's had on your life. Living with these challenges can be painful and frustrating, but please know that you're not alone. It's okay to feel sad and miss the things you used to do, celebrate the progress you've made.
