Work with the physiologist to find your right cocktail of meds. (This portion unfortunately is trail and error). Keep your sleep schedule healthy and work on stress management. Sleep deprivation and stress tend to be the biggest (or most common) triggers for episodes.

I’m in the same boat. Diagnosed with BPD 2 after over 20 years of misdiagnosis. I can only say what my therapist told me, “You are not your diagnosis. Learn about it, but don’t let it run your life.” It’s hard finding the right medication cocktail, but stick with it if you go that route. If you can, find a good psychiatrist to help you manage. Unfortunately there’s no magic wand, I’ve looked. I’m going through ketamine treatments now and it seems to be positive so far and I’ve tried a lot of treatments. Try and find as many resources and people that you can and push. Know that there’s always someone who cares for you.
