I might have psychosis but im not sure yet i need help!!
Hello, im new to this platform and i think i have psycosis and delusional attatchment to a character. And no this is not a joke, ive been looking at some research and i have symptoms of having DA (delussional attatchment) and my larents wouldnt belive me. Ive been looking for answers all day i hope someone can help me. Ive been seeing hearing and beliving stuff that i might not supose to. It triggers me everytime people reality check me. But i dont wanna self diagnose so please tell me ur opinion about my problem. (Sorry for the bad eng)
The first step I would do is talk to your doctor. By yourself if you feel more comfortable to do so. It is possible that you are correct, and if you have access to one, a professional can help figure out if that's it. I have been in psychosis before, and it's hard to catch before it's a problem. I applaud you for recognizing that you may have this going on, it took me having psychosis and delusions multiple times before I learned to recognize it beforehand. I still see and hear and sometimes believe things that are not helpful or realistic. Is it a character from a work of fiction, like a book movie or game? Or a historical figure? I have felt this before, and would like to discuss more if I'm on the right track
I have that too. I think I saw my original character in real life. It comforts me to think he might be out there somewhere. Yet I do not see him anymore...
