I feel like I cycle daily and night is the worst…. I feel like I’ve lost my mind

@420harleychick It definitely sounds overwhelming to think about how cycles keep happening. I think the silver lining in knowing it's worse at night is that at least you can know more specifically what you need help with. The more we do research on our disorders and seek out support, the easier it'll get to cope with issues like this and things can slowly get better. I believe that healing from cycling moods is possible even if it takes a lot of time because the most divisive part of mental health isn't just the changed states of being but lacking or having the coping strategies required to deal with them.

I feel like I am just not getting better. I will be okay for like a day, maybe two if I am lucky. Then, I will be depressed for weeks and weeks. This one is getting bad. It's been about a month of just depression. I am in school and I just feel heavy and overwhelmed. Doing anything takes all my effort. Everything feels like I have a 50 pound weight on my chest while trying to do even basic stuff like go to the bathroom. My back is in agony and I can't afford anything and I have no interest in doing anything when I get home from work or finish school for the day. I tend to just sit in my bed in the same spot until I decide it is time to go to bed.
