Tapering Olanzapine

Hey guys. I'm so glad I finally get to taper my olanzapine again. I went down by few and I'm confident I'm doing well. I'm actually proud that I'm strong enough to do these large jumps. A lot of people struggle with it and have to go really slow, and I feel sorry for them. I don't want to sound egotistical, I'm just highlighting a positive thing to mention about my strength.

I'm diagnosed schizophrenic, and that's why I'm on antipsychotics in the first place. I'm going to be so happy once I've finally tapered off completely (that's the hope, at least). Tell me what it was like for you guys to be successful in your "unmedicated" path, or your success with your schizophrenia. I know there are many different paths and struggles, and I'd like to hear what everyone has to say.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I edited your thread to remove dosage amount, we cant share dosing. I am glad you are feeling better. I want to encourage you to continue to do it under medical supervision as it can become dangerous otherwise and once fully tapered off, remember you're not cured and to monitor how you feel and still consistently see your provider, just to keep you safe, ok?
