Question
So i keep hearing random repetitive noses or voices or tunes in my head and it scares the crap out of me. Right now its like an old telephone and making that disconnexted noise. Yesterday it was an alarm clock sound and the day before it was a really random and weird tune. And also it was an alexa voixe saying "they are here" over and over and it scares me. What is this called or what mental illness is this? It started happening when i did meth, and i dont do meth anymore but it still happens. Any recommendations?
@Yidyonk I'm not an expert, but I've seen this kind of thing called auditory hallucinations or auditory intrusions. They are associated with many, many conditions, not all of them mental illnesses. It could be just a side effect of the meth that's taking its time to wear off, or it could be a sign of something more serious. A doctor will be able to do tests and work out the cause with you.
