Coworker scares me
I have a co-worker who is literally picking on me and trying to make me look bad at work. I have only been professionally and respect of her as well in every way. I am not sure what I can do because she is lying about me at work. What strategies could I use to protect myself against her?
I already struggle with low self-esteem and self-confidence. How can I bounce back from it please?

each situation can be different with co-workers several problem types .... most of the time IF they are talking behind you back or trying to throw failure on you it is because in some way they are jealous or fear you will surpass them. i had people who were mad if i did more then them they feared being in trouble for slacking ... if i caught on to training faster they wanted a mistake pointed out to bring me down that i did NOT get it faster then them ... most situations were their own insecurities not me....
depending on the work situation is there an HR person or trusted supervisor to talk to? sometimes head on is the best permanent way to shut it down.
