Do I work for villains

Damn. People are scary man. Maybe they didn’t hear me in my office, but the kitchen (where they congregate to gossip) is right next to my office, and they decided to gossip a lot today. Not about me but it was heavily related to my position, I started shaking. I just started here and am still learning their database systems and all kinds of other ***. So I’m already paranoid they’re looking for reasons to fire me over my incompetencies.

They were *** talking everyone else though. And the worst part was that my boss who is also the director of the whole organization, was leading the *** talking! I heard a side of him that I never witnessed before. He was *** talking people who he told previously were doing a ‘great job’. It really made me lose respect for him. Then, one of the people he was bad mouthing came in to pick something up and he was like “HEY HOW ARE YOU DOING ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰”.

I’m losing faith in human beings. I would love to leave but I cannot walk away from this money that is also being given to my mom to support her. I will leave as soon as I can, but the next workplace will be just the same.

Why is everyone so ***. I was in a good mood making progress with the mess they’re asking me to fix and then they started being mean spirited af.

Does anyone have any experience surviving in a workplace like this?
