I, a human, am sick. At what point do I stop sacrificing?

I'm not going to go into the details about my work. But I give alot to it. And now my boss wants me to sacrifice my own health for the health of her cat.
I know people live their animals but anyone could take her cat to the vet.
I, a human, am sick.
I... gods help me part of me still would go in.

I am assuming boss wants you to come in while she is at vet with cat ....but your health does come first. It is not your job to wait if you need time off or a visit to doctor because her cat is ill.
