Imposter syndrome
I can admit that i KNOW i have imposter syndrome but acknowledging it doesn't make it any easier.
I started out as an apprentice and my first boss (my main trainer) was quite condescending and ended up refusing to let me do specific jobs because i wasn't the best at them. I asked to be trained in it and he waved me off.
Job 2 the same thing happened after a small amount of training i was told to just not do it and constantly passed up on for praises and the only promotion in my team - i created the team i did everything for over a year and the guy they brought in to be on the same level as me after promising for that whole year theyd never bring someone in above me and give me a chance to be a manager. They put me under him. But looking back on it all his managers were men and they had ‘boys trips’ which were just meetings externally i just dont think he wanted a female manager.
My third and current job the manager and the guy i answer to HAS NO IDEA ABOUT ANYTHING hes one of those multiple title dudes that realistically shouldnt have them. But because someone needs it he has it. And its like pulling teeth.
Im losing my mind trying to explain choices and reasons to him for him to go no it wont work because it doesnt work in x part of the business. NO IT WONT WORK THERE BECAUSE ITS NOT MEANT TO WORK THERE. Or he’ll do the opposite ‘this works here so it must work with your area too’ NO IT DOESNT.
I dont know how much more i can tolerate

I know how frustrating this type of thing can be.
Change in supervisors or managers that we feel are not qualified can cause a lot of anger.... wanting to change things even though they are not familiar with day to day operations and how it may not work like they assume .. maybe the department tried it before and confirmed it did not work. we do not always see what those in charge of hiring saw in a candidate. Have you applied or interviewed for these manager positions before? Most are not just given because you are there but you need to sell your experience to leadership.
The reality it is on them not you. Being frustrated and maybe disagreeing openly only make it looks like you are the issue.
