General Questions
I figured it might be helpful to have a general questions thread for if anyone has any questions when it comes to the writing assignments.
My question is what style articles should be written in, APA, MLA, etc. It changes the rules on capitalization and some punctuation.
@InvaderStitch as @Katheryn mentioned, you do not need to worry about the style. This is because when converted into HTML, it doesn't really matter. (As an Editorial Assistant I noted that recently). Capitalization is recommended in our training guide for the Title (The title tool is super handy) and apart from that, it is up to you for example, if you would like to make some mentioned quotes italic. Remember, you can italicize and bold some important parts of the sentence for easier reading. I am not sure if it is required for the Writer role, but sub-headings are very handy to break up our pieces into a greater flow... hope this helps.
Great answers, all! We are not adhering strictly to a particular style right now as there are so many contributors writing their own ways, but for capitalization, I use MLA, can't go wrong with that.
