What was your favorite recent book or article, and what did it inspire?

My favorite book recently has to be "House of God" by Samuel Shem, MD. The book talks about a resident in medicine, and the ways that medicine will push you to your limits at times. Questioning whether it's the work that you want to do in life, and where do you draw the line for yourself. It gives insight into what medicine is and the little things that you think can help you get through it. I'm currently enjoying reading the next book in the series called "Man's 4th Best Hospital" which looks at as an Attending Physician how to teach interns and improve the reputation of the hospital they did their residency at.
